Motorway A6 Bern direction Zweisimmen, 1 km after the Simmenfluh tunnel turn left direction to Diemtigtal. Follow the Diemtigtal road into the valley for 8 km to Horboden. Turn left here and follow the signposts «Springenboden» until you reach the signpost «Rüti». Turn left there and take the right-hand road to the next fork. Park 20 metres after the first cattle grid in the bend on the left-hand side.
Oey-Diemtigen (Spiez-Zweisimmen line).
Continue by PostBus to the «Horboden, Chirel» stop. From here the hut can be reached on foot in 1 hour.
