The cable cars in the Diemtigtal (Diemtig valley) offer you perfect leisure activities

The Grimmialpbergbahnen and Wiriehornbahnen (both chairlifts) bring you easily up the mountain. Once you have arrived at the top, it is your turn to decide how challenging your further programme should be: a thrilling downhill ride with your mountain bike or a breath-taking tandem paragliding flight? If you prefer a more relaxed activity, enjoy a hike with guaranteed panoramic views.

- Take the chairlift to go up the mountain and save your energy for your chosen activities of the day
- Try a new sport: from scooters over mountain golf to downhill mountain bikes, you will find a wide choice of new things to test
- We offer the right experience for everyone: those who love to sit comfortably on a terrace enjoying the sun will get their money’s worth too
- Share your experience with the hashtag #naturparkdiemtigtal. On Instagram & co. you will find many like-minded people!
- You can reach us within shortest time: the valley station of both Wiriehornbahnen and Grimmialpbergbahnen are close. Even for a half-day programme the Diemtigtal has suitable excursions

Grimmialp: nostalgic and cosy

From the mountain station of the Grimmialpbergbahnen you can find activities for almost everyone. No matter if you like to hike in untouched nature, strive for relaxing solitude on the peaks, are drawn to places of power or those full of interesting flora. You can even observe our wild animals and visit our wildlife observation station with its own binoculars.

Wiriehorn: thrill in the bike park

With every metre the chairlift brings you closer to the top, your anticipation of what will follow grows. From the mountain station three downhill runs offer challenging bike adventures. Enjoy a more relaxed alternative, the push scooters, if you aren’t confident riding a mountain bike, or if you are visiting us with your family. New at the Wiriehorn is a  for the whole family. Try to solve the mystery whilst hiking up the mountain.

The team at Berghotel Wiriehorn (mountain hotel) will be pleased to spoil you with delicious food and drinks. They also organise regular events, such as brunches and concerts. Even when hiking along the geological theme trail (Geopfad), or on another of the numerous hikes in this area, you will find plenty of places to stop for refreshments.
