What began in March 1998 at the Restaurant Bahnhof as the "Höflifasnacht" has developed over the years into the traditional «Diemtigtaler Fasnacht» with a parade, various participating «Guggenmusik» and costume awards.
The cosy, colourful hustle and bustle in the village of Oey is very popular with Fasnacht enthusiasts. The event is listed at the end of the national carnival calendar. No wonder, many carnival lovers come to the Diemtigtal to get in the mood one last time.
With the title «The show must go on», the motto could not be more fitting. Finally, the Diemtigtaler Fasnacht should be allowed to take place again...

Friday, 10 March 2023: «Fasnacht-Ylüte»
from 6.18 pm star march, welcome, awarding of the plaque winners, festive economy and musical entertainment
Saturday, 11 March 2023: 19th Diemtigtaler Fasnacht, motto «The show must go on»
2.07 pm: Start of the parade through the village, followed by non-stop Guggenmusik and bar on the festival grounds
