The nature park cheese dairy, founded as a subsidiary of «aaremilch ag», is a modern and high-performance milk processing plant with a cheese dairy and a milk bottling plant under one roof.
Around 1800 farms from the canton of Bern want to take the future into their own hands and are behind the project. The necessary thermal energy is supplied to us by the «Burgholz» heating network, another subsidiary of «aaremilch». We produce CO2 neutrally at this state-of-the-art site, and we are proud of that!
Visit our Simmental Cheese World and learn more about our products, sustainable Swiss milk production and our partners behind the project. On information boards, screens or simply through the windows, you will gain exciting insights. Depending on the time of day, there is always something going on in the salt bath, the cheese care centre with its state-of-the-art robots or in the ripening cellars.
Afterwards, you have the opportunity to have a drink in our bistro area, enjoy a cheese plate or buy a delicious piece of cheese. We look forward to your visit!
