Together with our hiking guide Ueli Kammer, we start the guided nocturnal tour in Meniggrund and quickly gain altitude in the moonlight.
As dawn begins to break, we enjoy the impressive far-reaching view over the Diemtigtal Nature Park and the adjacent Simmental Valley on our way via Schwalmflue and Niderhore. The rising sun is another unique highlight! The path leads us to our destination, the Seebergsee. In the Seeberg mountain restaurant we fortify ourselves with a well-deserved breakfast.

Meeting and end point
We meet at 11.30 pm at the Zwischenflüh post office (Seebergsee junction) and drive together from there to the starting point of the hike. The following day we will return here in the course of Sunday morning.

- Difficulty: We hike in moderately difficult terrain. The long duration of the hike and the unfamiliar experience of being out and about at night have led us to classify the hike as "difficult".
- Walking time: With enough breaks and a pace that suits everyone, we will be on the move for a good 8 hours. The pure walking time is 5 hours
