The winter valley hike takes you from Anger to Senggiweid on Grimmialp. During the hike you have the striking peaks of the Seehorn and the Spillgerten massif in view.

At the beginning of the trail, follow the cross-country ski trail to Tiermatti. It is worth taking a little time here to admire the artistically carved and colourfully painted façade of the former inn. From here the winter hiking trail continues via Seeboden to Geissboden. The next highlight is the idyllic Blauseeli on the Senggiweid. Deeply covered in snow, it is surrounded by fir trees. Even in winter it is a beautiful photo subject.

Take one last look at the striking peaks of the Spillgerten before the trail leads you back down the valley to the post bus stop «Grimmialp».

The winter hiking trail can be walked in both directions and is signposted. There are shortcuts at Tiermatti (post bus stop «Tiermatti») and at Geissboden (post bus stop  «Fildrichbrücke»).
