The overnight stay at the Gsässweid inn rounds off the panoramic hike from Niesen Kulm perfectly and offers you a relaxing end to the day on Springenboden.

The panoramic hike from the Niesen into the Diemtigtal offers you magnificent views of the Simmen and Diemtigtal valleys and Lake Thun. The cable car takes you to the Niesen Kulm mountain station at 2336 m above sea level in 26 minutes. You hike along the marked mountain path into the Diemtigtal and reach the Gsässweid guesthouse after around 4.5 hours.

Good to know

The hiking trail may pass through a herd of sheep with guard dogs in the Geeri area. Please pay attention to the signs at the beginning of the pasture and behave accordingly. A section of the trail also passes through a summer pasture with cattle.
