The Diemtigtal is an authentic and unspoilt valley, therefore it’s not always immediately obvious how to get the most out of your visit. This makes the fact that our office is so close to the Oey-Diemtigen railway station even more useful . You'll find us directly at Oey-Diemtigen railway station, from where also the PostBus leaves towards Diemtigtal–Grimmialp. There are numerous parking spaces just in front of our office.
The tourist office is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am until 12 pm and from 1:30 pm until 4:30 pm as well as on Saturday from 8:30 am until 12 pm.

Our information room is open 365 days from 7:30 am until 6 pm. You can find various information here (mostly in German). This room also offers you shelter on cold and rainy days while waiting for the train or the PostBus.
Take a moment and write a few lines to your loved ones at home. Send your holiday experience and greetings by a real postcard! Have fun choosing the right card to tell your friends and relatives at home about the Diemtigtal (Diemtig valley). They will be very happy about it! We promise. At the tourist office we have a great variety of postcards. Of course, we sell stamps too.
If you’ve never ridden an e-bike, your stay in the Diemtigtal (Diemtig valley) is the perfect occasion to try it. At the tourist office we have two basic rental bikes – of course we can give you all the information you need about where to test them too. Find more information > here.
Some of the starting points for excursions in the Diemtigtal (Diemtig valley) aren’t accessible by public transport. For this reason, there’s a > Mobility car (car sharing) right on our doorstep. Take the Skoda Octavia for your excursion in the Diemtigtal Nature Park. The car is equipped with a ski rack during winter. Ask at the Diemtigtal Nature Park tourist office for child seats. Thanks to Click & Drive you can register and benefit from the Mobility service easily and without the need to pay subscription fees or other obligations.
