What began in March 1998 at the Restaurant Bahnhof as the "Höflifasnacht" has developed over the years into the traditional «Diemtigtaler Fasnacht» with a parade, various participating «Guggenmusik» and costume awards.
The cosy, colourful hustle and bustle in the village of Oey is very popular. The event is listed at the end of the national carnival calendar. No wonder, many carnival lovers come to the Diemtigtal to get in the mood once again.

Friday, 14th March 2025: Fasnachts-Ylüte
from 6.18 p.m. star march, welcome, awarding of prizes to the winners of the badges, refreshments and musical entertainment.
Saturday, 15th March 2025: 21st Diemtigtaler Fasnacht
2.07 p.m.: Start of the parade through the village, followed by non-stop Guggenmusik and bar with DJ on the festival grounds.
