The Swiss wrestling trail, which was opened in 2012 in the home of wrestling king Kilian Wenger, has lost its relevance over the years. The project was therefore modernized and digitally relaunched last year. Under the name "The path to becoming king", the trail is now integrated into the nature park app. The previous information on wrestlers, associations and swings remains unchanged and has been expanded to include lots of additional content about the sport of Swiss wrestling. This makes it possible to experience Swiss wrestling as a living Swiss cultural heritage in a contemporary and playful way. Interactive stations encourage visitors to take part and help them to learn more about this actively practiced national sport.
The official opening of the redesigned themed trail will take place on Sunday, June 21, 2026. Accompany invited guests and sponsors on the "The path to becoming king".

Train, bus & Co:
Take the train to Oey-Diemtigen station (Spiez–Zweisimmen line). Continue by post bus to the «Horboden, Chirel» stop. Springenboden can be reached on foot from Horboden (1 hr. 40 min.)
By car:
Highway A6 Bern direction Zweisimmen, 1 km after the Simmenfluhtunnel turn left direction Diemtigtal. Follow the Diemtigtalstrasse into the valley for 8 km to Horboden. Turn left here and follow the signs for «Springenboden» (6 km).
