Motorway A6 Bern direction Zweisimmen, approx. 1km after the Simmenfluh tunnel turn left direction to Diemtigtal. Follow the Diemtigtal road into the valley for approx. 6km in the direction of Horboden. Shortly before Horboden, turn left into a private road with a driving ban. Follow the road until you reach the Mettlenweid house.
By train and PostBus (public transport):
Oey-Diemtigen (Spiez-Zweisimmen line).
Continue by PostBus to the «Horboden, Chirel» stop.
