Action, adrenaline, and a rush of excitement: «The Mutz» is the most challenging trail of the Wiriehorn Bikepark (S3 throughout, black) and is suitable only for advanced riders. This technical trail demands good technique, as it takes you over natural obstacles such as roots and rocks, and in places through man-made steep-wall bends. However, it guarantees lots of riding fun among like-minded riders. By the way, many iXS Downhill Cup events have already been held on this track.
The Wiriehorn cable car takes you and your bike up the mountain in comfort. So nothing stands in the way of a whole series of downhill runs. The trail ends at Allmiried. From here, either the Creekslide trail or the Homestretch trail leads straight back to the valley station. There are also showers, a bike wash and a barbecue area available here. Camping is permitted in the large car park (subject to a charge).
There is also a pump track and easy trails for children and beginners at the valley station.

Directions
- At the top station of the Wiriehorn chairlift, follow the path that branches off to the right. After a few hundred metres, you’ll already see the «Der Mutz» starting platform on your right. This is where the real fun begins – follow the markings down into the valley to Allmiried. From here, take either the Creekslide Trail or the Homestretch Trail down to the chairlift.

Equipment
The HOT-TRAIL Bike Shop at the valley station rents out the appropriate equipment (or you can bring your own). We recommend a > prior reservation.
Safety guidelines
In the HOT-TRAIL Bike Park Wiriehorn there is the right track for every skill level: ride safely and according to your ability. We recommend protective gear and a helmet.

- Getting there
Motorway A6 Bern towards Zweisimmen, turn left 1 km after the Simmenfluhtunnel towards Diemtigtal. Follow the Diemtigtal road towards the valley for 11 km to the Riedli valley station. The 6-seater chairlift takes you to the mountain station of the Wiriehorn lifts (observe operating hours).
ParkingThere are plenty of paid parking spaces at the valley station of the Wiriehorn lifts.
Public transportationTake the train to Oey-Diemtigen station (Spiez–Zweisimmen line). Then continue by post bus to the stop «Riedli, valley station Wiriehorn». The 6-seater chairlift takes you to the mountain station of the Wiriehorn lifts (observe operating hours).
