On the blue-marked «Tom & Jerry» flow trail, you'll learn and consolidate the most important basic montain biking skills through practial exercices. The trail is similar to a fitness trail: first, you read the information on the relevant signs and then carry out the exercise yourself. True to the saying: practice makes perfext! The trail, rated S1 for difficulty, was refurbished in autumn 2026.
Along the way, there are always great views of the Diemtigtal.
With the chairlift, you and your bike can comfortably ascend the mountain. Nothing stands in the way of an afternoon of downhill rides. At the end of the trail – directly at the Wiriehorn valley station – showers, a washing station for your bike, and a barbecue area for cozy hours afterward are available. By the way, camping is allowed (for a fee) on the large parking lot of the Wiriehorn cable cars.
At the valley station at the bottom, there is a pump track and easy routes for children and beginners.

Directions
- At the mountain station of the Wiriehorn cable cars, head left past the mountain hotel and follow the path across the alpine meadows towards Alp Röschtenschwend. Watch out for the fork in the path at the lowest alpine hut: follow the blue signposts down into the valley to Allmiried. From here, follow the easy Creekslide Trail back to the valley station.
Author´s Tip / Recommendation of the author
- In the upper part of the route is the nicely situated fire pit Röschtenschwend. How about a barbecue or at least a picnic break in between?
Equipment
The HOT-TRAIL Bike Shop at the valley station rents the appropriate equipment (or you can bring your own). We recommend a > prior reservation.
Safety guidelines
In the HOT-TRAIL Bike Park Wiriehorn there is the right route for every skill level: ride safely and according to your ability. We recommend protective gear and helmet.

- Getting there
Motorway A6 Bern direction Zweisimmen, turn left towards Diemtigtal 1 km after the Simmenfluhtunnel. Follow the Diemtigtal road downhill for 11 km to the Wiriehorn valley station. The 6-seater chairlift takes you to the mountain station of the Wiriehorn cable cars (observe operating times).
ParkingThere are sufficient paid parking spaces available on site.
Public transportationBy train to Oey-Diemtigen station (Spiez–Zweisimmen line). Then continue by post bus to the stop "Riedli, Wiriehorn valley station." The 6-seater chairlift takes you to the mountain station of the Wiriehorn cable cars (observe operating times).
