Watching the alpine farmers at their daily work is fascinating, because the production of cheese requires a lot of experience and intuition. Different types of cheese and butter are made on the cattle alp and also sold right on the alp. Supplies at home are also taken care of: the Knutti family also sends their cheese vacuum-packed by post. 

The «Rinderalp» mountain hut is also suitable for groups of up to 60 people. Cheese dairy tours take place from mid-June to the end of August from 8.30 a.m. to 12 p.m. We recommend that you book early.
